With the end of the academic year almost upon schools it's time to start planning and thinking about end of year procedures for ConductOnline. Actions to consider include: new form group allocations; updating national curriculum years; adding/removing staff; year head changes; etc. We can also import new students for Yr 7 when you have the data available. We can assist with any data import/export and modification. Just send an email to admin @ 3squareassociates.com outlining your requirements. |

Following the release of the Apple iPad, we've been looking at porting some of our software titles across to this new and groundbreaking device. Up until now, the small screen size of iPhone was a bit of a limiting factor for things like lesson plans, assessment tracking, report writing, etc. iPad provides a much better device and screen size for users to interact with our software. We're already converting Lesson Planner to run on iPad and iPhone. We'll be announcing the release of Lesson Planner for iPad shortly and followers of our RSS feed will be the first to hear about it so watch this space! The app will be available via the iTunes App Store. ConductOnline is already iPhone and iPad ready, so if you haven't done so, try ConductOnline on your iPhone or iPad! |

The latest system update allows users to subscribe to a ConductOnline RSS feed for found sets or individual students. RSS allows users to find a group of students, such as a form, or an individual student and then create an RSS feed. The saved feed can then be read in your browser, using a PDA or even your mobile phone. The RSS feed will automatically update with new conduct entries when your feed reader is opened or refreshed. Feeds can be managed, copied, etc. using the ConductOnline Admin > My Details > Manage RSS menu. |

Ever wanted to use your ConductOnline data with Microsoft Word?
The exported data can then be used within a Word document that can be formatted to suit your requirements. This is going to be particularly useful for student disciplinary hearings when a pupil has lots of conduct records and the document required is more complex than the current printing and design options within ConductOnline via your browser. You'll be able to format the Word document how you want to present the data. A demo Word template and demo data files are now available to download. Please click here to download DemoMergeFile.zip NOTE:
Care should be taken to avoid accidentally exporting large record sets, such as the whole school, as this may make your system unresponsive. If you need to export larger record sets, perform finds for smaller data sets first and then export, i.e. find a form group > export. |

| Following a hardware failure, users on the Shankly server were unable to access ConductOnline for an unacceptably long period, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. We are in discussions with our data centre to ensure that any such issues are guaranteed to be covered by a fail-over system and a much lower SLA for recovery time. Users on other servers were unaffected. |

| We're working on getting the end of year procedure finished off before the end of term. This will allow schools to deal with the issue of moving students up a form group and national curriculum year ready for when the new school year begins. |

The latest system update allows users to subscribe to a ConductOnline RSS feed for the whole school or individual students. RSS allows managers and even outside agencies to view conducts without having to be actively logged in. A secure "key" is generated from an authenticated user who has logged into the system, this can then be inserted into an RSS reader and your feed becomes live. RSS keys for individual students could be generated for EWO's, carers, social workers, other agencies and stake holders in the individual pupils welfare and education. With RSS and the secure key they don't have access to your system but can see conducts for designated students. |

ConductOnline now features parental login which will only show parent's conduct details for their child. With a slick slide down, slide up interface, it's really easy for parents to look at their stored contact details, conduct records, sent letters, behaviour emails, text messages delivered and their son or daughter's behaviour chart. |
